"In Aztec mythology, Mictecacihuatl is Queen of Mictlan, the underworld, ruling over the afterlife.
Her role is to keep watch over the bones of the dead. She presided over the ancient festivals of the dead, which evolved from Aztec traditions into the modern Day of the Dead. It is believed that she was born, then sacrificed as an infant."

I did. I opened an art gallery. Our first show was called "Dia de los Muertos." [link] We plan to make it an annual show, so maybe you can submit a self portrait in 2013.
