Issue On Kids
So I was watching an episode of South Park; the one where Mrs Garrison assigns the Parenting Assignment to the kids, where they have to pair up and take care of an egg like it was a live baby. Later into the episode, she finds out that a law was about to get passed to legalize gay marriage and adoption. So Mrs Garrison pairs Stan and Kyle as parents for the egg assignment, just to prove how dangerous and harmful it is to have two dads. Then she goes out of her way to get the freakin egg smashed so she could 'prove', scientifically, that having same-sex parents is wrong - which involved hiring a bloody assassin, and getting many people hurt/killed in the process. Luckily, she fails, and the law for Same-Sex Marriage and adoption is approved.
So I'm just wondering. What the hell is wrong with her? Or not JUST her, with ANYONE who says that same-sex parents is wrong and harmful?? Just what are you phobes afraid of? What is so freaking terrible about having two dads or two moms
cadavershe was born with arctic lips
and overcast skin.
her hair fell like fresh snow
and she was far too thin.
her bones in locked closets,
joints creaked and shrieked
like a rotten floorboard
under gossamer feet.
NaPoWriMo: Day 10 Have you ever been so cold, Sweetheart,
your knees q u a k e d like that Jenga piece
that buckled just before your whole foundation
& no matter
how many times
I've restarted your heart,
one would think
I'd grow tired,
I'm still writing you in poetry
(in the most inappropriate of places.)
You forced yourself beneath my blades
& my fingertips,
Licking unstable knees,
you were death on my tongue:
angry apricot eyes, unforgivable sin
scaring my limbs &
haunting my dreams.
& I'd still try to save your fucking life.
